As we all have discovered, life can surprise you. Change can come suddenly for the good or bad. So it was with me when I found myself unexpectedly retired early. After a demanding career, what a joy it is now to have the freedom to follow my heart.
I remember enjoying art and photography classes in high school. Friends would laugh at my sketch book in college. Over the years, I have been the “go to person” when friends wanted a good picture of their kids and pets. Now I have the time to rededicate myself to developing my skills in the arts of photography, pottery and painting.
I feel that if I dare to dream and pursue learning these creative skills fearlessly, that I can find my artistic voice. When asked what are my goals now, I would say…… to attempt to make beautiful things. Thank you for visiting my website. I hope you enjoy what you see.
Living in the Maryland suburbs, space is at a premium. As a result my pottery wheel is in a small studio off of the garage.
